The G34 has a long slide that reduces muzzle flip considerably to keep the user on target during rapid fire. This semi-automatic pistol utilizes a dual recoil spring assembly that substantially increases spring life. A modular back strap allows shooters to instantly customize the grip to an individual shooter’s hand size, or to cold weather gloves.

The polymer frame has a “rough” texture that provides a sure hold on the pistol in adverse conditions, and the enlarged magazine catch is reversible, accommodating left- or right-handed shooters. Glock 34 Gen 3 Features
The Glock 34 Gen3 has an extended barrel, longer slide dimensions and elongated distance between sights. The Glock 34 features Glock’s Safe Action system which provides a consistent trigger pull from the first to the last round. The three automatic independently operating mechanical safeties are built into the fire control system of the pistol. All three safeties disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically reengage when the trigger is released. The frame is made of polymer with hardened steel guides. It features an ideal grip angle and low weight.
The slide stop lever and the magazine catch are easily operated with the shooting hand. The advanced surface treatment of the slide results in optimal hardness by considerably reducing wear and tear and it makes it corrosion resistant, even when operating in saltwater conditions. The matte surface minimizes light reflection.
The 9mm barrel is mechanically locked and cold-hammer forged. It also has the same advanced surface treatment as the slide. Its extractor serves as a loaded chamber indicator to comply with the laws of certain states and its position may visually and physically indicate whether there is a cartridge in the chamber of the pistol.

Glock 34 History & Parts
The Glock line of semi-automatic pistols is widely acknowledged as an industry leader. With extensive experience in the field of polymers, Glock was uniquely poised to enter competition for the new duty pistol requested by the Austrian Military in 1980. The sleek and modern Glock 17 was the result, leading to a plethora of other Glock models and variants and worldwide recognition from military and law enforcement agencies.
The Glock 34 debuted in 1998 and is the competition version of the Glock 17 and draws heavily from the now-discontinued Glock 17L design. With a shorter slide and barrel than the Glock 17L, the Glock 34 meets maximum size requirements for most sanctioned sport shooting events, however its slide and barrel are still longer than the Glock 17.
The Glock 34 has an extended magazine release and extended slide stop lever as well as an adjustable rear sight. The sides of the front of the slide are slanted rather than squared and parts of the slide are milled out so as to reduce both muzzle and slide weight and better balance the weapon.
